A striking architectural marvel delivered for the Sultanate of Oman at Expo 2025 Osaka. The project seamlessly bridges ancient Omani heritage with forward-looking sustainable technologies. Featuring a bold, undulating red exterior framework, interactive cultural exhibits, and cutting-edge digital projection tunnels, the pavilion offers an unforgettable multi-sensory journey that positions Oman on the global stage.

"Heritage in Motion: Navigating the Future" The design contrasts traditional Omani warmth and hospitality with sleek, minimalist engineering, utilizing bold geometry to guide visitors from the country's rich historical roots directly into its futuristic vision.

Overview

The pavilion is divided into distinct structural and experiential phases designed to captivate visitors day and night:

  • The Architectural Monument : A sweeping, matte-red facade featuring monumental architectural curves that command attention across the Expo grounds. The structure serves as both a geometric landmark and an expansive canvas for nightly dynamic media displays.
  • Cultural Dialogues: Micro-spaces engineered within the curves to offer intimate cultural interactions, featuring traditional Omani low-seating arrangements, authentic materials, and interactive board games.
  • The Immersive Abyss: A high-tech, infinite digital tunnel running through the heart of the pavilion. Using mirrors, synchronized spatial audio, and high-density blue projection floor-to-ceiling graphics, it simulates underwater and celestial navigation.
  • Dynamic Projection Mapping: As night falls, the crimson structures transform via advanced outdoor projection mapping, telling visual stories of Oman's landscape, astronomical history, and marine life alongside interactive particle and bubble effects.
  • Hospitality & Retail Hub: A premium interior finish combining a modern brushed-metal coffee experience and retail area embedded into raw rock-textured walls, providing an authentic taste of Omani hospitality.
